WRF Stepfeed Phase 2

This project consists of refurbishing and updating the aeration basins and final settling tanks to increase the volume of water that can be treated at the Water Reclamation Facility.

In November, The Great Lakes Construction crews finalized site grading excavation and installation of the stone aggregate around final settling tanks in the back of the plant. Guist Decorators finished painting the ceiling and walls of the first floor (upper level) Aeration Gallery and began the epoxy painting of the floor. Barbicas Asphalt crews finished installation of surface course and sealed all joints. TGLCC crews finished pouring concrete collars around catch basins and finished up sidewalk concrete pours. Jadco was on site and began caulking and sealing sidewalk areas around final settling tanks. Conduct progress meeting #51 & #52. Crews continued with demobilizing equipment and materials from site. Continue reviewing and processing RFI's and submittals.

As of February 21st, Step Feed Phase 2 has reached substantial completion and 335 million gallons of water has received higher level treatment from this project so far! Completion of Phase 1 and Phase 2 have resulted in 727 million gallons of water receiving higher level of treatment with even more to be treated as time passes.
